Chelan Fish Hatchery

Just finished touring the Chelan Fish Hatchery in Eastern Washington, the new salmon rearing facility that is state of the art using circular rearing tanks, auto feeding, sophisticated monitoring systems, and a water treatment system. They also have a sturgeon program, rearing sturgeon to release in the Columbia River. Very impressive and it reminds me of my early days on the lower Columbia using wild fish as broodstock!
